AdvanceFlow™ enables popular applications to work together for seamless engagements

DEXTER, Mich, January 19, 2012—The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters announced today the upcoming rollout of a new audit and engagement management application that, starting later this year, will provide tax and accounting professionals with a more integrated and more sophisticated experience.

Branded AdvanceFlow, this new application will offer powerful trial balance and engagement management functionality, complementing the document management and workflow capabilities of the GoFileRoom® platform. PPC’s SMART Practice Aids™ will be an integral part of the audit solution.  AdvanceFlow also will allow GoSystem® Tax RS and GoFileRoom to work seamlessly together as part of an end-to-end integrated solution. AdvanceFlow is designed for large to very large firms with sophisticated audit practices.

The new application will be web-based, using secure data centers to offer accounting professionals and auditors maintenance-free security and anytime-anywhere access to the application and
related data.

While the initial release of the software is scheduled for mid-2012, a preview version is already being evaluated by a select group of partner firms.
